Not only does she make you look fantastic, she makes you feel fantastic too. My morning was filled with fun and laughter and not woes and worries. As soon as Sue could see me panicking she would tell me to breathe and relax bringing me back down to earth (still loving the breathing exercise haha).
She even worked her magic on my bridesmaids.. as soon as they saw her amazing talents they also wanted in on the action and they all looked amazing.

Sue did my wedding make up and I honestly could not have dreamed of a better experience. Right from the trial I had, where she made my mum (who has quite bad burn scars) feel super reassured to the day itself. Me, my bridesmaids and my mum looked flawless, and she brought her amazingly bubbly, fun personality which just made the morning feel exactly as it should – exciting, girly and fun! The make up was incredible, mine lasted 2 days (I completely forgot to pack or give my groom any make up remover!) and Sue works off your best features so everyone just felt like the most gorgeous version of themselves. I had a make up session with Sue and from then – I knew I wanted her to do the makeup for my wedding!

I had a makeup masterclass with Sue, she was really lovely and gave me some great product recommendations as well as showing me how to make the most of the make up I already had. I have oily sensitive skin and despite having tried various foundations over the years my make up never lasts. The products she recommended last all day and night and feel amazing. I now feel much more confident applying my make up using the simple, easy to follow techniques that Sue showed me. Would highly recommend to anyone!

I went to a few makeup trials and came out of all of them feeling awful. I wanted a natural style but also wanted good coverage for my blemishes. I don’t normally wear a lot of make up on my eyes.
The make up artists I saw either painted on very thick obvious foundation, or didn’t give me good coverage but gave my eyes a (lovely) but inappropriate ‘going on a night out’ look.
I’d given up hope till Sue was recommended to me by Julie from Bridal and Vintage hair (brideshair@gmail.com).
She is not only an incredible make up artist, but has this magical empathy that meant that during the trial, within a few minutes she had ‘got’ me, my personality and what would make me feel comfortable (both in make up and how she treated me). She was so in tune with my emotions and what I needed. Instead of going for the look most people would assume I wanted, she knew what I wanted before I’d even requested it. At the trial I cried with relief and happiness when I looked in the mirror. She made me feel amazing. She got great natural coverage and a classic and elegant make up style that complimented my hair and dress perfectly. In addition, Sue and Julie had a brilliant rapport with each other that put me totally at ease. They both clearly love what they do and work so well together.
Sue recommended me a brilliant skin care regime and stayed in touch – she answered all my questions in the 2 months before my wedding and by the day I was feeling really confident about my skin.
On the day, Sue was just amazing. I even felt confident enough to ask for slightly more eye make up as I completely trusted her not to overdo it, and she once again got it spot on. It wasn’t just a brilliant bridal make up experience… she was nurturing, calming, and knew the perfect time to joke and the perfect time to help me just breathe and keep calm. She even took her own videos and pictures of moments that wouldn’t have otherwise been captured and sent them straight to me! Sue was both a make up artist and an instant friend that made the wedding morning experience an unstressful, wonderful peaceful and enjoyable time. She’s made of magic! My Mum and aunt absolutely loved the make up she did too – which were both completely different styles from each other and me. She’s clearly a very versatile make up artist, with lots of experience and can read people brilliantly. I felt amazing on the day, largely thanks to Sue.
She even kept in touch after the wedding to ask how it went, with genuine happiness and enjoyment to hear how well it went.

I was really reluctant at the idea, thinking I could do my makeup by myself on my wedding day. I am glad I changed my mind and went for a bridal makeup trial with Sue. She made me feel at ease, advised me and she is very professional and knowledgeable with cosmetics. She can recommend brands and colors that are right for you and isn’t afraid to say no if she thinks the makeup you want wouldn’t look right on you.
