Naked Truth. The Power of Make Up
A billion dollar industry, celebrity endorsed, new techniques, new products coming online every five minutes …. So what is all the fuss… Why pay someone to do it? Let me try and unravel this for you.
Firstly I am not going to use a model with flawless skin, I am not going to use airbrushing, I am not going to use special lighting, this is me, naked (ok, not naked, but you get my drift)
So time to make a word up – S –E –B – H – follow this and you won’t go wrong!
SKIN – Firstly remove any imperfections; balance your skin tone, I use my favourite concealers and foundations. I have over 40 in my kit! If you’re unsure what colours; and how to apply best for your photographs and any filming (Bridal) that can be decided on the day!
EYES, BIG IS BEAUTIFUL – Interested in how to make your eyes look bigger? – look how round my unmade up eye looks – No problem! Whether you have smaller set eyes or simply want to make them pop, there is a variety of fantastic eye make-up that can help you. It mostly comes down to technique, not just eyeliner.
BROWS – As you can see I DON’T HAVE BROWS, I know the trend of very large, bold brows are what most want but all trends fade – remember the perm?- So i shape your brows that suit your face and eye shape. This can give you an instant eye lift.
HIGHLIGHTING – We all know the word contour, this technique isn’t new this has always been used in a discreet way, like wearing spanks it can smooth’s out lines, pull you in where you want too. I find a over contour face odd, would you wear your spanks for everyone to see?
As you can see from my photo that my techniques on the skin makes me look fresh and airbrushed, I feel if your skin looks amazing the rest will.
